VOLUNTEERING AT THE LIBRARY

Provo City Library needs your help!

There are a variety of opportunities for volunteer service in the Library, including helping our Spanish-speaking patrons. Most volunteer opportunities can be adjusted to fit your schedule. Below is a sample list of jobs volunteers do for us.

To volunteer at Provo City Library, you must first complete and return a Volunteer Application , which may be downloaded and printed here or picked up at the Library’s Reference Desk . Completed applications may be turned in at the Reference Desk or mailed to the Volunteer Coordinator at Provo City Library, 500 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84601-1618. All volunteers under the age of 18 must also turn in a “Parental/ Guardian Consent Form.” Note: You must be 14 years of age or older to volunteer at the Library.

Completed applications will be sent to the Provo City Human Resources Department for a required background check which can take up to one week. Once that is completed, our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you about your preferences and availability.

If you want more information, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 801-852-7685.

Please note: The Library does not accept applications for court-appointed community service hours.
